Welcome to Gateshead Talking Therapies

South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) service offers Step 2 and 3 of the Stepped Care Model to help people with common mental health problems in Gateshead.

Our aim is to offer assessment and NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) evidence-based psychological treatment to residents aged 16 years and over, who have mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
